Social Media Account Executive

A Social Media Account Executive should embrace the ever-changing digital landscape and love working with the latest online platforms and tools for paid and owned social media campaigns. They should know how to create copy and content that generates great results, and understand how to measure the social analytics that best demonstrate those results to clients. Outstanding time management skills and a passion for social media engagement, with an eye toward future tech and tactics. They should be regularly learning about new social platforms and capabilities and bringing those back to their clients and to the agency.



  • Assists in the creation and implementation of digital marketing and PR strategy and tactics for an assortment of clients in a variety of industries, with a specific specialty focus in social media
  • Create, edit, proof and publish a variety of internal and external content including, but not limited to, press releases, blogs, websites, social media, and other correspondence
  • Assists in the formation and management of client marketing estimates, budgets and expenses
  • Collect and analyze data to develop and adjust marketing and PR plans
  • Collaborate on creative/art direction
  • Assemble client activity reports
  • Produce clip reports highlighting key social initiatives
  • Manage marketing and public relations projects with outside vendors
  • Maintain good client relations through professionalism and all functions of customer service
  • Manage timeline and resources for incoming/current/ongoing projects
  • Maintain accountability for resolving client issues, proposing solutions and dissolving potential issues to maintain satisfactory projects and relationships.
  • Recognize and develop potential new opportunities and/or new projects for existing clients to generate revenue.
  • Participate in team brainstorms
  • Engage and seek out professional development activities
  • Contribute to and participate in new business opportunities as necessary



  • 1-2 years of experience in social media
  • Comfortable working within social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, LinkedIn etc
  • Experience with community management
  • Some experience developing social media content and working with social influencers
  • Familiarity with online monitoring, measurement and analytics is preferred
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of personalities both internally and externally
  • Video production and digital design skills are a plus (not required)
